Units of competency covered by our Clustered Blasting course are:
RIIBLA202F Support underground shotfiring operations
RIIBLA205E Store, handle and transport explosives
RIIBLA303E Conduct underground development shotfiring
RIIBLA304E Conduct underground production shotfiring
RIIBLA305E Conduct secondary blasting
RIIBLA401E Manage blasting operations
DURATION:
3 x 10hr days face-to-face theory assessment, simulated practical exercises plus workplace documentation and evidence gathering.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
This course cannot be offered to persons who do not currently work in an underground Metalliferous Mining environment.
You must be able to complete practical aspects in the actual work environment and provide evidence of those duties to meet the require performance requirements of this course.

The NSW Explosives Regulation provides for the provision of a Security Clearance (SC) (previously called an Unsupervised Handling Licence (UHL)). The SC is a precondition of all explosive’s licences. This must be applied for before or during the BEUL application process.
COST PER STUDENT: $2,500.
